Nigeria’s President, Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Monday resumed work after attending the 2025 Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week, organised by the government of the United Arab Emirates.
Following his return to office, President Tinubu received a brief from the Chairman of the Federal Inland Revenue Service, Mr Zach Adedeji.

The President also received in audience the Governor of Kogi State, Usman Ododo and a member of the House of Representatives, James Faleke.
It would be recalled that the Nigerian Leader, attended the just concluded 2025 Sustainability Week in Abu-Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.
Abu Dhabi Sustainability Summit
At the Summit, President Tinubu delivered Nigeria’s position on climate and other challenges while he congratulated the UAE leader for the successful event.
He assured the global audience that Nigeria is ready to work with other nations to build a resilient, equitable, and sustainable world for all.

In his address on the Day 2 of the 2025 ADSW, President Tinubu declared that global interconnectedness demands collective action, knowledge sharing, and mutual support.
President Tinubu told the participants that the Nigerian government is working with local communities to implement solutions to mitigate the adverse consequences of the country’s environmental challenges, such as deforestation, desertification, coastal erosion, flooding, and pollution.
He called on partner countries to collaborate in mobilising resources to tackle the challenges and embrace innovation and technology.
On the sidelines of the summit, President Tinubu held a meeting with the Rwandan counterpart, Paul Kagame.
He emphasised the need for African nations to prioritise intra-African trade and collaboration to drive development and prosperity across the continent.
While both leaders exchanged ideas on advancing Africa’s progress, the Nigerian President underscored Africa’s potential, citing the continent’s resources, skilled workforce, and inherent capacity for growth.
President Tinubu at the meeting also highlighted the urgency for African nations to harness the assets by fostering closer economic and strategic partnerships.
The Nigerian Leader also received in audience, the President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev on the sidelines of the 2025 Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week on Tuesday.
Celebrating innovation and sustainability on a global scale during the ADSW, President Tinubu extended his felicitations to two Nigerian small and medium enterprises (SMEs) for their remarkable accomplishments at the Zayed Sustainability Prize Awards Ceremony.
The President lauded Nafarm Foods and D-Olivette Global Enterprise for making Nigeria proud on the global stage.
After President Tinubu’s participation in the Sustainability week events, Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan thanked the Nigerian leader for accepting his invitation and expressed the UAE’s determination to strengthen economic cooperation between Nigeria and his country.
The United Arab Emirates President, Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan also accepted Nigerian President Bola Tinubu’s invitation to visit Nigeria this year 2025.
