President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has sworn in Tunji Disu as the 23rd Inspector-General of Police at the Council Chambers of the State House, Abuja.
At the same event, the President also administered the oath of office to six newly appointed commissioners of the Revenue Mobilisation Allocation and Fiscal Commission (RMAFC) and two commissioners of the Federal Civil Service Commission (FCSC).
The ceremonies, which preceded the meeting of the Federal Executive Council (FEC), were attended by ministers, senior government officials, and the appointees’ family members.

The FEC meeting commenced shortly after the swearing-in, with a significant number of council members in attendance.
Vice President Kashim Shettima, the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), George Akume; the Chief of Staff to the President, Femi Gbajabiamila; the National Security Adviser (NSA); and the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, Mrs Esther Walson-Jack, were in attendance.
