President Tinubu Withdraws Appointment of 25-Year-Old FERMA Chairman

President Bola Tinubu has directed the withdrawal of the nomination of 25year old Engr. Imam Kashim Imam, who was appointed last week as the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Federal Roads Maintenance Agency (FERMA).

The withdrawal of Kashim Imam was communicated in a statement signed by the President’s Spokesperson, Ajuri Ngelale.

The statement stated that withdrawal of the nomination was with immediate effect.

Ngelale added that other appointments to the Board and Executive Management team of FERMA are not affected by the directive.

Recall that Engr. Imam Kashim Imam completed his National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) programme in August 2022.

He was a first-class graduate of Mechanical Engineering from Brighton University.
