Ebonyi State Governor in southeast Nigeria, Francis Nwifuru, says President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda has brought notable improvements to the lives of residents in the state.
Governor Nwifuru stated this while receiving the Minister for Information and National Orientation, Mohammed Idris, who was in Ebonyi for a citizens’ engagement programme aimed at showcasing the president’s achievements over the past two years.
The minister and his entourage were received at the State Executive Chambers.
Accompanying the minister were the Directors-General of Voice of Nigeria (VON), Jubrin Baba Ndace; NTA; FRCN; NAN; NPC; NUJ; NBC, among others.

Nwifuru said the president means well for Ebonyi State, noting that this is the first time an Ebonyi person has been appointed to be the minister of works in the person of Engr. David Umahi.
The governor assured that the second term of President Tinubu is not negotiable in the state.
The governor urged the federal government to listen to the yearnings of the state as it concerns the already approved 330 KVA of electricity, which is still a big challenge in the state.
On his part, the Minister of Information and National Orientation, Mr Mohammed Idris, expressed happiness over what he described as rapid development in the state.
