The Nigerian Ministry of Works is gearing up for an assessment of its performance in the first and second quarters of 2024.
Ahead of this evaluation, the Special Adviser to the President on Policy and Coordination, Hajiya Hadiza Bala Usman, and her team paid a visit to the Minister of Works, Mr. David Umahi, at the Ministry’s headquarters in Abuja.
Commencing any project
During the visit, Minister Umahi walked them through the project initiation process, which includes designing, costing, bidding, and other essential steps before commencing any project.
He expressed appreciation for the President’s focus on road infrastructure development, acknowledging its impact on every aspect of society.
The Presidential Special Adviser, Hajiya Hadiza Bala Usman, explained that her team would be monitoring the Ministry’s performance and seeking ways to enhance and fast-track road projects in Nigeria to achieve the Renewed Hope Deliverables.
