Chadwick Boseman only missing cast member
Production for the Marvel studios sequel of Oscar-award winning movie ‘Black Panther’ commenced Tuesday night in Atlanta, Georgia.
The sequel titled ‘Black Panther: Wakanda Forever‘ has most cast members retained.
Daniel Kaluuya, Danai Gurira, Letitia Wright, Lupita Nyong’o, Winston Duke, Florence Kasumba, and Angela Bassett will all feature.
But as expected, lead actor Chadwick Boseman who died in 2020 following a secret battle with cancer is the only missing face.
He played the role of the lead character T’Challa.
‘Black Panther: Wakanda Forever‘ will be released in the summer of 2022.

Kevin Feige , Marvel Studios Chief, explained that the upcoming production would solely focus on other cast members; but would be a ‘special tribute to Chadwick.’
“It’s clearly very emotional without Chad. But everyone is also very excited to bring the world of Wakanda back to the public and back to the fans. We’re going to do it in a way that would make Chad proud,” Feige told the press.
The first installment Black Panther enjoyed smashing success globally in 2018, netting $1.34 billion.
It remains Marvel’s highest grossing non-“Avengers” movie of all time.
