President Bola Tinubu is in Maiduguri on a one-day working visit, during which he commended Borno State Governor, Babagana Umara Zulum for implementing people-centred development projects.
During the visit, the President commissioned an electric vehicle charging terminal, with a live demonstration of electric car charging, as part of efforts to promote clean energy and modern transportation.

He also inaugurated a newly constructed secondary school in the Mafoni area of Maiduguri, alongside other strategic projects slated for commissioning.
Before departing Maiduguri for Bauchi State, President Tinubu is scheduled to commission additional projects, including the International Airport Terminal and a fleet of electric buses aimed at improving urban transportation in the state.

The visit underscores the Federal Government’s support for Borno State’s infrastructure renewal and innovation drive under Governor Zulum’s leadership.
