PRP Governorship Candidate Promises to Tackle Infrastructure Deficit in Edo State
The Edo State Governorship candidate of the Peoples Redemption Party, PRP, Mrs Patience Key has promised to tackle the state’s infrastructural deficit and improve emergency response capabilities.
In an interview with newsmen, Key shared her vision for a better Edo.
Key said though she is the only female candidate in the race, she is undaunted by the challenges ahead.
She noted that Edo people yearned for a leader to address the critical issues of poor infrastructure and ineffective emergency services.
“If elected governor, I promise to assess existing infrastructure, identify gaps, and prioritise needs.
“My government will develop a Comprehensive Infrastructural Plan, outlining goals, objectives, and strategies for addressing deficits,” she said.
Comprehensive Plan
PRP candidate said her comprehensive plan would involve regular maintenance, securing funding, investing in innovative solutions, and encouraging public-private partnerships.
She emphasised the need for a dedicated emergency response unit, equipped with modern technology and trained personnel.
The PRP candidate described her promise for a better Edo as a beacon of hope for a brighter future.
Key pledged to become the leader to bring about the needed change in Edo if elected.
The Edo state Governorship election is scheduled to hold on the 21st of September 2024.
