The Nigerian Public Complaints Commission has appointed a new Secretary to the Commission.
The Chief Commissioner, Public Complaints Commission (Nigerian Ombudsman) Mr Abimbola Yusuf, appointed Mr Philip Enyali as the new Secretary to the Commission in Abuja, the Nation’s capital.
Mr. Enyali, who was the former Director of investigation in the Public Sector Department of the Commission was appointed as the new Secretary to the Commission effective from 2nd November 2021, when the former secretary exited from Office after attaining the mandatory retirement age of sixty years.
Mr. Enyali, a fellow of the chartered institute of Administration, having served in various investigations, administration, information and accounting positions of the Commission, holds Master of science Degree in Public Administration from the University of Benin and Bachelor of science Degree in sociology from University of Calabar, also served as State Director in Delta and Akwa-ibom State office of the Commission.
He joined the Commission as an investigation Officer in August 1988 and has over thirty-three years of Ombudsman work experience of driving innovation and impeccable track record in Public service.
The Chief Commissioner Public Complaints Commission, Yusuf, expressed optimism that the Commission made the right choice Mr Philip
“To ensure sustenance of corrective justice in respect of all Complaints bothering on maladministration, abuse of Public office and sundry administrative injustice whether in the Public Sector,” he said.
Mr Yusuf, urged him to put his best in the service of the Commission.
In the same vein, the former Director Public Relation, foreign support and Inter Agency collaboration, Barrister Ewa Edu, has been appointed Director of Investigation (Public sector) to replace Mr Philip Enyali who is now the secretary to the Commission.
