PVC: Osun State Government declares June 24 work-free day
Osun State Government has declared June 24, 2022, a work-free day to enable residents and civil servants to collect their Permanent Voters Card (PVC) ahead of the July 16 Governorship election.
A statement yesterday by the Secretary of the State Government, Prince Wole Oyebamiji, reads: “The government acknowledges the importance of workers in the democratic process.
It’s aware that workers can only give life to their aspiration for a worker-friendly government through their votes.

“The government does not want anyone to miss the opportunity to exercise their constitutional right, especially as it affects their overall wellbeing and the security of their future.
“Consequently, Friday, June 24, has been declared a work-free day in all government offices across the state to enable all public and civil servants to pick their PVCs so they can perform their civic duty.”
