The Board and Management of the Nigerian Railway Corporation, NRC, will temporarily suspend train services from Saturday 25th to Monday 27th of February 2023.
The suspension is to enable Nigerians to exercise their civic responsibilities in the elections.
This was contained in a statement signed by Deputy Director, of Public Relations, Nigerian Railway Corporation Mr Yakubu Mahmood.
It said the train services include; Abuja – Kaduna Train Service, Warri – Itakpe Train Service, Lagos – Ibadan Train Service and Iddo Lagos – Ijoko interstate Mass Transit passengers’ train services.
However, the management assured the general public of the normal train services recommencement on Tuesday 28th, February 2023.
