The National Youth Leader of the All Progressives Congress APC, Mr. Dayo Israel has urged Nigerians, particularly the Youths to embrace love, forgiveness and steadfastness during and after the holy month of Ramadan.
Israel said that these attributes become expedient as they form ingredients to develop individual, groups and the nation at large.
He gave this indication while addressing over 1,000 youths from across the 36 states of the federation and the FCT who converged on the capital city of Nigeria at an Iftar (Ramadan Break at dust) organized by the National youth leader.
The Youth Leader who charged Nigerian Youths to see the government of Nigeria’s President-elect, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu as their own, added that the occasion was also to celebrate the 71st birthday of the Man whom he described as his father.
He however called on well meaning Nigerians to supplicate to God for divine wisdom, protection and prosperity for the President-Elect, Mr Bola Tinubu as he also prayed for sound health and Divine guidance for the incoming administration.
“We have come together tonight to felicitate with one another on the victory of the party, APC, and the President-Elect, my father, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu. The victory is a youthful victory and we must celebrate graciously. Fortunately, this is a period we must show love, compassion as Ramadan teaches love, forgiveness and steadfastness in the way of God, and the birthday of our father, Bola Tinubu falls within the holy month of Ramadan and Christian Lent which is a pointer to the fact that this incoming Government of Asiwaju Bola Tinubu is ordained by God and it is going to be prosperous for all Nigeria.”
“I want to use this medium to call on Nigerian youth to take charge of this coming administration and ensure we guide it jealously against scavengers and social media agents of destructions.
“As our father marks 71st birthday, we wish him sound health, long life and victory at all time.” he said
The event was well attended by Deputy Governors, Senators, Members of the House of Representatives, youths political stakeholders, captains of industries and members federal parastatals among others.
Youths efforts
In his remarks, the Chairman Belema Oil and Gas Limited, founder Jack-Reich Foundation and Director Fundraising directorate Tinubu-Shettima Presidential campaign council, Mr Mr Jack-Reich Tein, thanked the APC National Youth leader for making the leadership of the party proud with his various programmes and for deepening youth inclusiveness in politics.
He said the efforts of the youth in the just concluded campaign that gave birth to the victory of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu is commendable.
Dignitaries present at the event took turns to speak glowingly about the personality of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Nigeria’s 16th President-Elect as they look forward to his official inauguration in weeks ahead.
Senator Ita Enang, Mr JackRich Tein, Hon. Sadiq Fakai, Hon. Dauda Adamu and Barrister Ismeel Ahmed former National Youth leader of APC were among those present at the event.
Others include; Son of the Vice President-Elect Ameer Shettima, Deputy National Youth Leader, Jamaldeen Kabir, 27 States APC state youth leaders, Hon. Ginika Tor, Ayo Oyayomi, Zara Onyinye, Bukkie Okamgbe, Segun Dada among others.
