Ramadan: Governor AbdulRazaq prays for peace, sustainable development in Nigeria

The Kwara State Governor, Malam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has congratulated the Muslim community worldwide, especially in Kwara State, on the month of mercy (Ramadan).
The Governor also felicitated with the leader of the faithful in Kwara State, the Emir of Ilorin, Dr. Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari, on the spiritual development.
In a statement issued on his behalf by his Chief Press Secretary, Rafiu Ajakaye, AbdulRazaq charged the Islam faithfuls to live by the spirit of this holy month in which sins are forgiven, destinies are reshaped for good and servants of God are given a brand new opportunity to get closer to the Creator.

He admonished Muslims to beseech Allah for peace, improved security and sustainable development for Nigeria and “for Kwara State in particular, as the nation begins a new chapter in our democratic journey.”
Governor AbdulRazaq wished the faithful God’s abiding mercies in this holy month and always.
