Ramadan: PDP Chieftain Donates N10m To Support Party In Sokoto

A Chieftain of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) Faruku Malami Yabo, has donated N10 million to the party in order to assist members during the holy month of Ramadan.

He made the donation in Sokoto through the former state chairman Traders Association, Alhaji Kabiru Hali, said the gesture was part of commitments to contribute towards reducing hardship among people observing fasting during this period.

Yabo, who was a former Ambassador Nigeria to Jordan expressed readiness to continue to provide more support and other interventions that would reduce suffering among people for the overall development of the party in the state.

He appreciated party executives and stakeholders for their unwavering commitments towards uniting, organising and strengthening the party across 23 local government areas of the state.

Receiving the money, the PDP Chairman, Bello Muhammad Goronyo, thanked Yabo for the support which he said would go a long way in reducing hardship among party members in the state.

Goronyo who was represented by State Party Treasurer, Alhaji Yahaya Dallatu, noted that the party would continue to exploit various modalities towards building a sustainable victory at all level.

He restated party’s determination and resilience in order to reclaim their stolen mandate come 2027.
