An International Christian Film Festival is scheduled to hold in Nigeria from April 30 to May 1, 2026, with organisers announcing the opening of submissions for entries.
The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), through its Creative Christian Content Department, is organising the event tagged the Redeemer’s International Christian Film Festival (RICFF).
A member of the organising committee, filmmaker Olufemi Bolorunde, said; “the deadline for submission of films is March 21, 2026.”
According to him, the maiden edition will take place at the Redemption City of God along the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway and will coincide with the department’s global conference scheduled for April 27 to May 1, 2026.
He said; “the festival will feature film screenings, masterclasses, panel discussions, networking sessions and an awards ceremony.”
Bolorunde added that categories open for submission include; feature films, short films, documentaries, animation, musical videos, series, student films and recorded stage drama.
