The National Working Committee NWC, of the Social Democratic Party SDP, has appointed Mrs. Rosemary Asuquo Effiong as the new Secretary of Labour and Civil Society and Mr. Wafarninyi Theman as the new National Vice-Chairman, of North-East Zone.
In a statement signed by the National Publicity Secretary of SDP, Mr Rufus Aiyenigba, their appointment into the National leadership of the Party, is to reposition the party.
The party disclosed that the two new appointments take immediate effect and are in acting capacities to be ratified at the Party’s next National Executive Committee meeting.
