The National Chairman of the Social Democratic Party (SDP), Dr. Olu Agunloye, says SDP will remain committed to bringing hope for Nigeria and will continue to be the credible alternative for Nigerians ahead of the 2023 general election.

Dr. Agunloye added that SDP would change the leadership narrative and provide adequate development for the country.
We bring hope to Nigeria because we provide Nigeria with the alternative platform; SDP is offering you the flagship that would rescue Nigeria.
“We are representatives of the entire family new generation offering an alternative to Nigeria and rescue for Nigerians,” he stated.
The National Secretary of the party, Mr. Shehu Gabam, added that “despite challenges, the party has made progress” in recent times.
Mr. Gabam, who made the statement at the party’s National Executive Council meeting held in Abuja, said, “In the period under review, several party litigations came up at the Federal High court at the state level. The party wore all the state litigations.”
“As usual with all political parties, there are several crises in some states, but they were not beyond control; the party is doing well in applying its crisis management mechanism,” he said
Part of the measures at the meeting is rectifying the motion for the Acting National Chairman of the party. Also, other positions rectified were the positions of the National Publicity Secretary and the National Youth Parliament of the party.
The Social Democratic Party has also approved a fifty percent discount for youths who may be interested in contesting for any elective position in the country.
