The Social Democratic Party, SDP, has suspended it’s Deputy National Chairman North, Dr. Abdul Ahmed Ishaq.
Dr Ishaq was suspended following anti party activities.
The decision was taken at an emergency meeting of the SDP National Working Committee in Abuja, Nigeria’s capital.
In a statement signed by the National Publicity Secretary, Mr. Rufus Aiyenigba, the Party also suspended the Kano State Acting Chairman, Mr. Hussein Bello.
Mr Aiyenigba said that; ”relevant bodies such as the Independent National Electoral Commission INEC, Inter-party Advisory Council, IPAC, Security agencies and other relevant institutions have been informed on the decision of the party.”
