The Nigerian Army has pledged to continue to provide adequate security for Corps Members of the National Youth Service Corps and its Officials.
The Brigade Commander, 17 Brigade Nigerian Army, Katsina, North West Nigeria, Brigadier General OF Fadairo stated this when the Director General of NYSC, Brigadier General Yushau Ahmed paid him a courtesy visit in his office.
The Commander who lauded NYSC for its efforts in uniting the country through its programmes and posting policy appealed for more stakeholders’ support for the Scheme.
General Fadairo also commended the NYSC Director General for his giant strides of transformation since he assumed duty in NYSC.
“We will continue to partner to ensure that the Scheme does not suffer. We must make the NYSC more stronger in all ramifications”, the Commander said.
Earlier, the NYSC Director-General, Brigadier General Yushau’ Ahmed appreciated the officers and men of the Brigade for their support for the NYSC Secretariat in Katsina State, especially in terms of maximum security for Corps Members and officials.
