He said the tour was crucial and forms a part of study activities in the military that seek to expose officers to a lot of happenings across the federation.

The Provost, who explained that the National Defence College was established 32 years ago as the apex military training institution, said the institution has a mandate toTrain people for joint activities at strategic levels. It is the highest training military establishment that brings the various arms of the military, Navy, Air force, Army and members of security agencies like the Police and DSS together.

He thanked the Governor for the warm reception, saying they were looking forward to enjoying their stay within the stipulated period.

In his remarks, the Governor said his administration would not relent in its collaboration with security agencies and other critical stakeholders to ensure a secured and safe society.

According to him, the theme for this year’s study tour is apt and is coming at a better time, noting that all hands must be on deck to strengthen unity for a secured society and achieve the desired development.
