The President of the Nigerian Senate, Senator Godswill Akpabio has extended his heartfelt felicitations to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, on the occasion of his 73rd birthday.
Akpabio, in a congratulatory message signed by him, described President Tinubu’s passion for Nigeria’s progress as contagious, stating that his vision and dedication to Nigeria are inspiring.
“Your Excellency, on behalf of my family and constituents, the Senate and entire National Assembly, I wish you a happy 73rd birthday. Today marks a significant milestone in your life, and I am honoured to celebrate with you.
“Your leadership, vision and dedication to our great nation are truly inspiring. As Senate President, I have had the privilege of working closely with you, and I must say that your passion for Nigeria’s progress is contagious.
“I must confess that Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu is one of the greatest and audacious leaders Nigeria has produced. In your 73 years on earth, you have pursued a political career marked by a strong commitment to progressive democratic principles and the uncanny courage in tackling authoritarian regimes.
“Sir, I acknowledge your indelible role in the formation of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in 2013, which successfully challenged the dominance of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in 2015.
“There’s no doubt that your support was instrumental in the victory of Muhammadu Buhari and the APC in 2015 and 2019.
“As the President of Nigeria in the last two years, you have demonstrated astute leadership and as you advocate for democratic values and bold economic reforms that have started to yield dividends. With you in the driving seat, Nigeria is in safe hands and Nigerians could not have made a better choice in 2023.
“As you mark this special day in this period of Ramadan, I pray that the Almighty Allah grants you continued wisdom, strength and good health to steer our nation towards greater heights.

Also the Special Adviser to the President on National Assembly Matters(Senate), Senator Basheer Lado, has felicitated President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, on his 73rd Birthday Anniversary.
Senator Lado in a congratulatory message described the President as a selfless leader and one who had sacrificed so much for the sustenance of democracy in Nigeria.
He says, “today, we celebrate not just the birth of a man, but the rise of a legacy.
“We celebrate not just the years in your life, but the life in your years.
“We celebrate not just the path you’ve walked, but the footprints you’ve left behind”.
The Special Adviser said the President’s life was a testament to the power of courage, resilience, and faith in the promise of the Nigerian nation.
He commended the ‘President’s determination as well as his relentless effort in ensuring adequate security, economic growth and political stability in the country.
According to Him, President Tinubu’s doggedness and passion for good governance has set Nigeria on a high pedestal in the comity of nations.
“You dreamed when others doubted, you sacrificed when others conformed, and you led when others retreated.
“On this special day, I proudly join millions across Nigeria and the world to salute your strength and celebrate your service,”he said.
Senator Lado prayed for divine wisdom as the President continued to steer the ship of the nation toward renewed hope and greatness.
He further prayed that the glory of the President’s latter years would surpass his achievements in the past.
