The minority caucus in the Nigerian Senate has pledged their loyalty to the newly elected Leadership of the National Assembly Led by Senator Godswill Akpabio.
The resolution was reached at the end of the minority caucus meeting held on Wednesday.

Senator Abdul Ningi who is of the main opposition party the PDP, and a former Leader of the senate, also urged the Senate Leadership to be very transparent in all its undertakings.
Executive Communication
Meanwhile, Senate has resolved to officially inform President Bola Tinubu of the full composition of the 10th Senate.
The communication is also to intimate the President of the election of Senator Godswill Akpabio as President of the Senate and Senator Jibrin Barau as the Deputy President.
President of the Senate Godswill Akpabio, explained that the communication was important to inform President Bola Tinubu that the Senate is ready to receive executive communications.
There was also a resolution to write to International Parliamentary bodies on the Assembly of the 10th Senate, as well as write a congratulatory message to the Speaker and deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, on their election.
