Shaboozey’s hit song maintains top spot on Billboard Hot 100

Nigerian-American musician, songwriter and record producer, Shaboozey’s hit song, ‘A Bar Song (Tipsy)’, has continued to maintain its spot on the Billboard Hot 100 with his song,  topping the chat for fourteen weeks straight.
According to Billboard Hot 100, “A Bar Song (Tipsy)” extends the longest stay at No. 1 on the Hot 100 this year. The song has a total of  75.6 million radio airplay audience impressions, 26.4 million official streams (down 1% week-over-week in each metric) and 6,000 sold (down 22%) in the United States Oct. 4-10.

Born in Northern Virginia to Nigerian parents, Collins Chibueze, also known as Shaboozey gained worldwide recognition after collaborating with Beyoncé on two songs in the critically acclaimed album, Cowboy Carter.

Billie Eilish’s ‘Birds of a Feather” comes in at second on the chart while Post Malone’s “I Had Some Help”, featuring Morgan Wallen, was rated third. Sabrina Carpenter’s ’Espresso’, ‘Die with a Smile’ by Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars, and ‘’Good Luck, Babe!’ by Chappel Roan were rated fourth, fifth and sixth respectively on the chart. ‘Taste’ by Sabrina Carpenter‘, ‘Lose Control by Teddy Swins and ‘Please Please Please’ are the other songs that occupied the seventh, eighth and ninth positions. ‘Beautiful Things’ by Benson Boone, completed the Top 100.
