The Director General of Small and Medium scale enterprise of Nigerian SMEDAN, Mr Olawale Fasanya has felicitated the Katsina State Governor-elect, Dr Dikko Radda on his victory in the just concluded Gubernatorial election.
Mr Wale Fasanya said that the overwhelming victory of Dr Radda who is the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), truly reflected the wishes of the good people of the state.
Dr Dikko Radda is the immediate-past director-general of the Small and Medium Enterprises Development Agency of Nigeria (SMEDAN). He resigned from his position at the agency in 2022 to contest for the governorship seat.
He was declared the winner in the election having polled a total of 859, 892 votes to defeat his opponent, Yakubu Lado of the People’s Democratic Party, who came second with 486, 620 votes.
Consequently, the Governor-elect promised that his administration would revamp the state economy, transform the education and health sectors as well as provide top-notch public service.
SMEDAN is tasked with Stimulating, monitoring and coordinating the development of the MSMEs sub-sector; as well as initiating and articulate policy ideas for small and medium enterprises.
