Nigeria’s First Lady, Oluremi Tinubu, has expressed her support for equal opportunities for all citizens, devoid of gender or ethnicity.
She disclosed her resolve in a message to mark the International Day of Social Justice.
“On this International Day of Social Justice 2025, under the theme, “Empowering Inclusion: Bridging Gaps for Social Justice,” I equally affirm my commitment to a Nigeria where every citizen, regardless of gender, ethnicity, or socio-economic background, has an equal opportunity to thrive.
“Today, we reflect on the progress we have made and acknowledge the challenges that remain in our journey towards social justice,” she said.

Mrs. Tinubu said all impediments to social inclusion must be dealt with. She stressed that all citizens must be allowed to contribute their quota to national development.
“It is time to pull down barriers and create spaces for inclusion, where no one is left behind. Let us work together to bridge the gaps that divide us, ensuring that every Nigerian, especially those from marginalised communities, is empowered to succeed in life.
“Together, we can build a future where everyone can freely contribute to the growth of our dear nation,” she concluded.
