He added that the outreach was intended to demonstrate the commitment of the Police to providing adequate healthcare for the people of the state, beyond ensuring the security of lives and property.

“The exercise includes blood sugar check, blood pressure check, HIV test, Health education all for free as part of the police contribution to the sustainable health among communities in Sokoto,” the CP noted.

While emphasising that the fight against insecurity is a collective responsibility, CP Shaffa vowed to ramp up robust collaborations with the state government, Sultanate Council of Sokoto, other security agencies, and critical stakeholders.

He called on community members to continue supplying credible intelligence reports to security operatives for sustained security in the state.

In his remarks, the District Head of Gagi, Sarkin Yakin Gagi, applauded the command for bringing the outreach to the community.
