The Sokoto State Governor, Aminu Waziri Tambuwal, has sworn in two new Permanent Secretaries and a Director-General into the State Civil Service.
The swearing-in ceremony was held at the Council Chamber of Government House, Sokoto.
In a statement by Tambuwal’s Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Muhammad Bello said those sworn-in as Permanent Secretaries are: Shehu Dange and Malam Abubakar Yahaya Sifawa.
Malami Umar Tambuwal was also sworn-in as Director-General.
Speaking at the ceremony, Governor Tambuwal urged the new officers to contribute their quota to the development of civil service in the state.
He also called on them to use their experience and knowledge in the promotion of better service delivery in the civil service of the state.
While congratulating the new appointees, the Governor prayed to Allah to guide them in the discharge of their responsibilities.
Meanwhile, two more new Permanent Secretaries, who were away on official duty, are scheduled to be sworn in at a later date.
They are; Hajiya Aishatu Hassan and Bello Isah.
