Soludo promises conducive environment to attract investors

Governor Chukwuma Soludo of Anambra state, south east Nigeria, has promised to provide a conducive environment that will attract and encourage foreign and local investors to the state.
Chukwuma made the pledge when he received in audience Ada Chukwudozie the Chairperson of the Manufacturing Association of Nigeria, MAN, Southeast-covering Anambra, Enugu and Ebonyi states.
Governor Soludo while receiving Chukwudozie on her first official visit at the Government House, Awka, congratulated her for inauguration and expressed the hope of effective collaboration between MAN and Anambra State Government to improve productivity and development in Anambra state.
While stating that manufacturers are critical stakeholders of any developing society emphasised the need to patronise made in Anambra products and expressed the readiness of the state government to partner with any investor to promote wealth and job creation for the people.
He expressed optimism that the MAN chairperson will serve the people well given her knowledge and wealth of experience in the manufacturing industry over the years.
Ada Chukwudozie in an interview said that Manufacturers Association of Nigeria is excited to have Professor Chukwuma Soludo leading Anambra State at this time, expressing hope of a better Anambra in a near future.
She assured the governor that MAN will synergise with the policies of the state government in line with their key vision which is to be the key drivers of industrialisation and sustainable economic development.
While pointing out that public sector cannot develop the state alone, she noted that the organised private sector must get fully involved but in a friendly environment to boost development through creating jobs and wealth.
The Chief of Staff to the Governor, Mr Ernest Ezeajughi, was present during the meeting while Mr Daniel Chukwudozie was among the MAN entourage.
