Governor Chukwuma Soludo of Anambra State, has extended New Year greetings to the people of the state and Nigerians, expressing optimism, gratitude, and renewed determination for the year ahead.
The governor’s message was conveyed in a New Year statement issued by his Press Secretary, Mr. Christian Aburime.
Governor Soludo described the beginning of the new year as an opportunity for reflection and progress, noting that 2026 offers Anambra State a fresh chance to consolidate its achievements, address existing challenges, and advance its long-term vision of prosperity, security, and sustainable development.
He reaffirmed that his administration remains firmly committed to its core development agenda, which he described as the “Solution pillars.”
These include infrastructure development, quality education, accessible healthcare, economic empowerment, environmental sustainability, and the security of lives and property.
While extending goodwill to citizens and residents of the state, the governor called on the people to embrace the New Year with gratitude, highlighting the resilience, industry, and patriotic spirit of Anambra people, both at home and across the global Nigerian diaspora.
Governor Soludo assured residents of his administration’s continued dedication to improving livelihoods and accelerating the transformation of the state in the coming year.
According to the statement, the government plans to intensify the delivery of projects and programmes in 2026 that directly enhance living standards, expand opportunities for young people, and strengthen Anambra State’s position as a hub for investment and innovation in Nigeria.
The governor also emphasised the importance of collaboration between government and citizens, stressing that sustainable development can only be achieved through shared responsibility.
He urged Anambra indigenes and Nigerians to continue supporting and cooperating with both state and federal authorities.
Governor Soludo concluded by congratulating the people on the New Year and offering prayers that 2026 will bring good health, peace, and prosperity to families across Anambra State and Nigeria.
