South African court blocks Zuma’s appeal

South Africa’s High Court has  said President Jacob Zuma had no grounds to appeal against a court ruling that corruption charges against him should be reinstated.

The same court had in April ordered a review of a 2009 decision by the National Prosecuting Authority to set aside hundreds of charges against Zuma. It was not immediately clear if the president would appeal the court’s  ruling.
