Football Players of Kano Pillars Under 19 team have been involved in a road accident in Jos, Plateau state North Central Nigeria.
The Media and Communication Director of the team Abubakar Dandago, who confirmed this in a statement said, the accident occured around 2pm as a result of brake failure while the players were on their way to the New Jos Stadium for their Matchday 5 fixture in the inaugural U-19 Youth League against Plateau United.
He explained that, seven players and the driver sustained injuries in the incident and have been promptly taken to the hospital for medical attention.
