Spotify rolls out AI DJ feature in Nigeria

Spotify is bringing its artificial intelligence-powered personalized music feature ‘DJ’ to Premium users in Nigeria to further connect artists and fans in a deeper, more meaningful way.

The AI-powered DJ recommends personalized music to listeners, supplemented with spoken-word commentary delivered via a synthetic voice.

This feature, first rolling out in beta, will deliver a curated lineup of music alongside commentary around the tracks and artists.

The beauty of these experiences is the AI’s ability to deliver the right piece of music for that exact moment in time, and maybe even connect listeners with their next favorite artist in the process

Since launching in the US, Canada, UK, and Ireland earlier this year, DJ has become the most discussed Spotify feature on social media.

Users can find their personal AI DJ by opening the Spotify mobile app on iOS or Android devices. From there, head to the Music Feed on Home and tap play on DJ.
