The Kano State Council of Nigeria Union of Journalists(NUJ), has congratulated the State Governor, Abba Kabir Yusuf on his victory at the Supreme Court.
In a felicitation letter addressed to Governor Yusuf jointly signed by Council Chairman Mr. Abbas Ibrahim and the Secretary Abba Murtala respectively, described the Apex Court’s judgement which duly affirmed your election “as the Executive Governor of Kano State “as the testimony that Allah has answered the prayers of the overwhelming majority of the people of the state who massively voted for you on March 18,2023.”
According to NUJ, “the Court’s final and total verdict also serves as a Go-ahead flag for you (Governor Yusuf) to continue with your laudable and selfless leadership which you have rendered to the people of the state in the last seven years.”
“As the Umbrella Union of Journalists in the state, we pledge our continued cooperation and support and look forward to working with your Administration towards the development of Kano State and the Journalism profession.” It added.
