Odunayo Adekuroye (Wrestling)
Nigerian wrestler Odunayo Adekuroye will be competing against Nitisia Anastasia of Moldova in the Women Freestyle 57kg Round of 16 match by 3:30am at the ongoing Tokyo Olympics.
The match will be at the Makuhari Messe Hall A Mat B and C at the Olympic Stadium.
Agiormor Ekerekeme (Wrestling)
Nigeria’s Agiormor Ekerekeme will be competing against India’s Puneer Deepak in the Men’s Freestyle 86kg Round of 16 match also by 3:30am.
Ayomide Bello (Canoeing)
Nigeria’s Ayomide Bello will be competing in the Women’s Canoe Single 200m race by 2:19pm at the Sea Forest Waterway in Tokyo, Japan.
Bello, 17, qualified for the Olympics after winning the C1 200 event at Africa’s Tokyo 2020 qualifiers in Morocco. She also won gold in the C2 women’s final with her partner at the event in Rabat. In 2018, Ayomide Bello competed at the Youth Olympics in Argentina in 2018.
She will be looking to make Nigeria proud when she kicks off her campaign in Japan.
