Nigerian singer Tems performed at Aston Martin’s launch event for its new car ahead of the 2024 F1 season.

The Grammy-winning artist delivered a medley of her singles, including “Burning”, which was nominated for Best R&B Song at the 67th Grammy Awards.
After the event, the singer described the experience as incredible and expressed her deep gratitude. 2025 has been a busy year for Tems so far, as she secured her second Grammy Award at the 2025 ceremony, winning Best African Song Performance for her track “Love Me Jeje.”
The international music star recently made history as the first African female artist to feature on a song with over 1 billion Spotify streams, thanks to her contribution to Future’s hit single “Wait For U.” With this achievement, she joins Wizkid (Drake’s “One Dance”) and Rema (“Calm Down” featuring Selena Gomez) as Nigerian artists who have appeared on songs surpassing 1 billion streams on Spotify.

Since breaking into the international mainstream in 2020 with her pivotal contribution to Wizkid’s hit “Essence,” Tems has risen to global superstardom, collaborating with Beyoncé and Drake. She also became the first Nigerian to receive an Oscar nomination after being shortlisted for Best Original Score for writing “Lift Me Up,” the lead soundtrack for Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, performed by Rihanna.
Tems is among the most nominated artists for the upcoming 17th Headies Awards, receiving six nominations, including Record of the Year, Album of the Year, and Artist of the Year.
