‘The Men’s Club’ season 4 is set to premiere exclusively, on top streaming platform Prime Video, on the Official release date,  June 30th, 2023.

The popular romantic drama series follows Aminu, Louis, Tayo And Lanre as they face a series of unexpected challenges in their attempt to succeed in love, business, friendship and family.

The synopisis reads, “As they navigate the ups and downs of external relationships, the boys grapple with their own issues, including career setbacks, family tensions and the pitfalls of fame, the season is full of emotional twists and turns. Will they emerge stronger together or will the ships hit an iceberg and sink? This season promises to be the most intense yet!”

Despite the outrage from fans in 2021, Pere Egbi will replace Ayoola Ayolola as Aminu in the highly anticipated upcoming season.

Following the backlash, the show’s lead writer, Dami Elebe put out a statement via Twitter explaining the decision to recast Ayolola’s role.

“It’s not our fault that the actor relocated – without telling us if I may add – and I don’t want the people – including me – who are working hard to give an amazing show be made to feel bad by the fans we absolutely love and are doing our best for,” she wrote.

Ayolola eventually took to his Instagram account to debunk earlier claims that he exited the show without formally notifying the production team which left them no choice but to find a replacement.

“Contrary to what was said, I did not relocate without letting the executive producers and producers of the show know,” the actor wrote. “My decision to make a ‘temporary’ move out of the country was a long thought out process in which the producer/my manager at the time i aware of and involved in. With that being said, I cannot wait to be back on your screens again.”

Season four returns with old and new faces like Baaj Adebule, Efa Iwara, Daniel Etim Effiong, Nengi Adoki, Linda Osifo, Ibrahim Suleiman, Rahama Sadau, Sharon Ooja, Sola Sobowale, and Shaffy Bello.

Created by Tola Odunsi, the first episode of the show has since gotten over 1 million views and won several awards including the Gage Award for the best web series of 2020 and the best African series at the HAP Awards (Hollywood & African Prestigious Awards) 2021.
