Nigerians from the Niger Delta region have been enjoined to rally round the youth-centered policies of President Bola Tinubu to speed up development.
Chief Mike Ebi Ayapaye, Director General of the Creek to Creek Movement, gave the charge at the National Convention of the governing All Progressive Congress (APC) held at the Eagles Square in Abuja.
The Creek To Creek Movement is a community-driven initiative committed to improving the quality of life in underserved communities across Nigeria, with a strong focus on riverine and creek areas.
Ayapaye particularly lauded President Tinubu for protecting the environment of the Niger Delta region through the award of pipeline surveillance contracts to indigenous firms and also strengthening regional agencies for rapid development.

According to him, this has created jobs; reduced oil theft – thereby improving revenue targets and production quotas; cut carbon emissions; and cleaned up polluted waterways.
He described the initiative as one action, multiple wins and a sustainable development model at work in the Niger Delta.
“I want to thank Mr President for the Tantita security contract,” he stated.
“Tantita has reached out to the people and employed a lot of youth from the region. Through the NDDC, Mr President has lighted the Niger Delta; seventy-five per percent of the region already has street lights — and more projects are coming. Hospitals, schools, and more.”
Inclusion
Engineer Okiyemute Odufugabon, Deputy Director General of the Creek to Creek Movement, found the convention equally encouraging.
He stated, “Politics should always involve young people — they represent the future.”
“Today’s events demonstrate APC’s readiness to involve youths in politics.”
The Creek to Creek Movement is building a community needs database — connecting NGOs, corporations, and government to the real, documented priorities of creek communities across Nigeria and the interventions pf President Bola Tinubu in this regard.
