The Nigerian Minister of Transportation, Senator Sa’id Alkali, has commissioned an Ultra-Modern Mega motor park in Gombe State.

The Minister said the project is the first of its kind in the history of Gombe State since its creation on October 1, 1996, and therefore marks a fundamental improvement in the quality of transportation infrastructure and in the overall quality of life of residents.

He said the “Mega Motor Park is a creative and timely addition to the State’s infrastructural master plan and demonstrates Governor Inuwa Yahaya’s record of delivering life-changing and progressive projects since he assumed office in 2019.

It is on record that in the last five years, he has delivered on his promise to recreate and re-brand Gombe State through the implementation of the following projects and programs, among others.”

The Minister urged all transport stakeholders, particularly the transport unions, to use the facility with a high sense of responsibility and to make it an avenue to further promote the progress, prosperity, and peace of the State.

He said the Mega Motor Park is truly unique and remarkable within the Nigerian transportation sector and it points the way for other States to follow.

The Minister commended Governor Yahaya Inuwa for building on the legacy of the previous Governors of the State in the area of infrastructural development.
