Israel’s Benjamin Netanyahu is under mounting pressure from families of captives and the international community to reach a ceasefire deal with Hamas, but he vows to continue the Gaza attack.

Israeli troops have stormed al-Amal Hospital in Khan Younis and are demanding doctors and displaced Palestinians evacuate, the Palestine Red Crescent says.

More than 70 US cities have passed resolutions on Israel’s war on Gaza with most calling for a ceasefire, according to an analysis by the Reuters new agency.

At least 26,900 people have been killed and 65,949 wounded in Israeli attacks on Gaza since October 7. The death toll in Israel from the October 7 Hamas attacks stands at 1,139.
