Following their shock defeat at Dinamo Zagreb, Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel says everything is missing’.’

Mislav Orsic netted the 13th-minute winner, running through from the halfway line and beautifully dinking a finish past the advancing Kepa Arrizabalaga.

The lifeless response from the London side stunned football watchers – with Tuchel offering no excuses.

‘It’s an under-performance from us and it’s the same story,’ he told BT Sport.

‘We have OK starts, we don’t take our half-chances, we don’t feel it when the game is there to be put to bed in the first 15-20 minutes, and then we concede from one counter-attack which is far too easy and from there we struggle and lose the match.

‘We’re clearly not where we need to be and where we can be, so it’s on me, it’s on us. At the moment everything is missing.’

Chelsea have left themselves plenty of work to do to qualify from their group, and they have also made an unimpressive start to their domestic campaign, losing to Leeds and Southampton in the opening weeks of the season.

Tuchel must now fancy a way out when they face London neighbours Fulham this weekend.
