U23 AFCON Qualifier: Junior Syli Stars To Camp For Two Weeks

In preparation for the all-important final round of the U23 African Cup of Nations qualifier, the Guinea Football Federation has concluded plans to have two weeks of training for the Junior Syli stars.

Guinea will confront Nigeria’s Olympic Eagles in the final round of the qualifier after they were drawn bye in the opening round of the qualifier after the Junior Cranes of Uganda withdrew.

The Nigerian side on its part reached the final round after defeating Tanzania 3-1 on aggregates.

The President of the federation Mariame Satina Diallo confirmed that the team will observe a closed camp in Conakry the country’s capital starting from January 15th – 30th, 2023.

The winner between Nigeria and Guinea will qualify for the competition that will be hosted by Morocco in 2023.
