The United Kingdom High Commission in Nigeria has transferred its Visa application centres in Nigeria to VFS Global.
The UK High Commission in Nigeria disclosed this in a statement released on its official X handle.
According to the statement, the visa process will be run by VFS Global. The transition will affect some applicants and may change the locations where documents are submitted and collected.
The High Commission assured affected customers that they would be contacted directly via email with specific instructions.

“The supplier of our visa application centres in Nigeria is changing. During this transition, some customers may submit and collect their documents from different locations. You will be contacted via email if this affects you,” it stated.
The statement says that visa application centres in Abuja and Lagos, which are responsible for facilitating the process, are still operating in their respective cities.
The High Commission further advised applicants to book appointments before visiting these centres. It added that the official visa application website remains open for those seeking more information.
