The University of Nigeria, UNN Nsukka has launched a New Online Master’s Degree in Public Administration.
This is in line with its target of ensuring a functional, globally competitive, and responsive higher education which meets the needs of the society.
The 24- month program will emphasize on the evaluation of the theories that inform debates about the management of public services.
A statement from the Head Media Association of African Universities, AAU, Felicia Kuagbedzi stated that the program which is being hosted on AAU-eLearnAfrica Learning Management System is targeted at civil servants on the African continent and leaders in development.
She said the MPA seeks to equip current leaders and students with advanced theories in public policy for sustainable development.
“Studying the Online Master of Public Administration will provide students with the ability to apply the latest theoretical knowledge to their careers in real-time and offer the opportunity for students to build a practical understanding of public management and governance.
“All interested students are invited to join the online Masters in Public Administration Program to deepen their knowledge and to access the numerous opportunities offered by the Program, for their advancement and generally for the advancement of their countries and Africa,” she explained.

The AAU-eLearnAfrica Learning Management System began in 2016, the eLearnAfrica began partnership agreement with the Association of African Universities (AAU) to expand online learning opportunities for students enrolled in the AAU’s over 400 member institutions and other universities not yet under the umbrella of the AAU.
The target is to make educational opportunities available to about 10 million African students.
