USAID-IHP Records Success On Improving Healthcare Delivery In Ebonyi State

The United States Agency for International Development- Integrated Health Program USAID-IHP, in partnership with Ebonyi State Government has recorded success in most of the health facilities where IHP has been supporting in the State.

 

The IHP Health Management Information System Specialist, Ifumi Ofere disclosed this during the 2023 second quarter facility level ‘pause and reflect’ at Osborn Hotel in Abakaliki the State Capital.
Ifumi said the essence of this program was to share knowledge and promote learning across the Program and Ebonyi State.

 

“This program is to discuss the work plan considering deliverables for Quarter 2 and 2023 financial Year. To share what we have learned that would lead to adjustments and adaptations based on the evidence and to discuss implications for IHP. 
She said the program would help to identify approaches towards better implementation in 2023 financial Year.
Also, the IHP data Analyst, Mr Stanley Eze-Nwankwo  said “regarding data management in the State, we have recorded huge success in the State as it concerns healthcare delivery in the State.

 

He however solicited that the state government should  recruit more health workers to make their support easier.
Moreso, a Community Health Extension Worker, Miss Ugbo Mary applauded the IHP for the wonderful work they are doing in the State especially in the rural communities.
Consequently, the State Desk Officer, Human Resources for Health of State Primary Health Development Agency SPHCDA,  also in charge of Monitoring and Evaluation Unit Mrs Obaji Phebean thanked IHP so far on the partnership with them on improving quality healthcare delivery in the State.
