Nigeria’s Vice President, Senator Kashim Shettima, Co-Chairman of the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, Bill Gates, and Chairman of the Dangote Foundation are currently meeting with the Nigerian Governors Forum.
The meeting, which started at about 11.45am Nigerian time, is holding at the State House Conference Centre, Presidential Villa, Abuja.
Gates had on Monday met with President Bola Tinubu as part of the programme to learn from partners helping to address polio, anemia, and other health threats.
At a similar meeting in 2018, Gates had said Nigeria’s Economic Recovery and Growth Plan, (ERGP), needed to have dwelt more on how the country could address issues of health and education.
