Vice-President Kashim Shettima has briefed President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on the state of affairs of the country during his two-week working vacation.
The Vice President briefed the President on Monday in his office at the State House, Abuja.
It would be recalled that President Tinubu appointed a ministerial delegation to represent Nigeria at the 2024 Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM) in Apia, Samoa, following the cancellation of Vice President Kashim Shettima’s scheduled trip to the summit.
The Vice President’s trip to Samoa was cancelled after a foreign object hit his plane during a stopover at JFK Airport in New York which led to the grounding of his aircraft for repair in New York.
On October 19, 2024, the President returned to the country after a two-week vacation in the United Kingdom (UK) and France.
