Nigeria’s Vice President, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo is virtually attending the meeting of the Federal Executive Council holding at the Council Chambers of the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
President Muhammadu Buhari is presiding over the meeting, which began at 10am Nigerian time.
It’s the first time the vice president is attending the meeting, albeit virtually, since he underwent a successful surgery on July 16 this year.
The surgery, which was performed at the Duchess International Hospital Lagos, was necessitated by a recurring pain in Prof. Osinbajo’s leg resulting from an injury he sustained while playing squash.
