Super Eagles of Nigeria striker, Victor Osimhen, scored a hat-trick as Galatasaray beat Ajax 3-0 in their UEFA Champions League encounter, at the Johan Cruijff Arena in Amsterdam, Netherlands.
Osimhen opened the scoring in the 59th minute with a powerful header from a Leroy Sané cross, breaking the deadlock after a tense first half.

He doubled the lead in the 66th minute from the penalty spot after Youri Baas handled the ball inside the box.
Galatasaray’s relentless pressure paid off again in the 78th minute when Osimhen converted a second penalty following another Ajax handball by Gerald Alders, sealing his hat-trick and the visitors’ emphatic win.

Osimhen now joins Yakubu Ayegbeni as the only Nigerians to have scored a hat-trick in the Champions League.
The Turkish giants dominated from start to finish, silencing the Amsterdam crowd with a clinical display that left Ajax struggling to respond.
