Voice of Nigeria Director General Congratulates Military Officers

Mallam Jibrin Baba Ndace, the Director General of the Voice of Nigeria has congratulated the recently promoted and retired Military Officers in the Nigerian Armed Forces.

 

While applauding the retiring Officers for their meritorious service to the nation, Mallam Ndace called on the newly promoted officers to see their elevation as an opportunity to give their best in upholding the Military’s responsibility of defending the territorial integrity of the nation and to maintain loyalty to the constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

 

The DG then urged Nigerians to consistently support the efforts of the Nigerian Armed Forces and other Security Agencies in addressing the prevailing insecurity challenges across the nation.

 

Mallam Jibrin Baba Ndace further reiterated the commitment of Voice of Nigeria under his leadership to sustain and improve on the existing partnership with the Military and other Security Agencies in projecting Nigeria’s positive image globally.

 

An analysis of the promoted senior officers indicates that a total of 217 senior officers across the Army, Navy, and Air Force were promoted. With the Nigerian Army had the largest share of 122, while the Nigerian Navy had 58 and the Air Force had 37 senior officers promoted to higher ranks.

 

Furthermore, a total of 113 generals retired from the Army, including one General, one Lieutenant General, 67 Major Generals, and 44 Brigadier Generals, marking the end of their distinguished careers in the Nigerian Armed Forces.
