VON DG Takes Broadcast Strategic Alliance To Las Vegas

The Director General, Voice of Nigeria, Mallam Baba Jibrin Ndace has taken VON broadcast alliances for contacts and collaborations to the 2025 National Association of Broadcasters, NAB, Conference and Workshop in Las Vegas, US.
According to a statement for NAB website, www.nab.org, the 2025 conference and workshop opens on the 5th to 9th April, ranging from Artificial Intelligence to Cloud Visualisation, Creator Economy and Sports Streaming, under the theme “The Technology, The Trend, The Future.”

VON, a state International broadcaster has embraced the digital media technology using its website: von.gov.ng and the notable social media platforms for its operations with a complimentary digital media department carved out from news directorate.

It has strategic alliances with notable international radio stations in Africa such as the South African Broadcasting Corporation, SABC, Tanzania Broadcasting Corporation, TBC, Sudan Radio, Egypt Radio, globally with Radio France Internationale, RFI, for content sharing and exchange programmes.

The NAB event would serve as a veritable ground for the VON Director General to have mutual discussions on further strategic alliances with notable international broadcasting organisation and broadcast companies for content sharing, training and broadcast equipment supplies.

Later in the year, by October, there would be a National Association of Broadcasters, NAB, show, in New York, where leaders in the media entertainment industries, would converge to discuss innovative technologies and storytelling.

A new sports summit would be launched during the event, highlighting the future of sports rights and fan experience.
